Euclid's Pentagram
By: E-Shark47

The pentagram was Euclid's to begin
The star that has a pentagon inside
The truth, it's not a symbol of some sin
The Golden Ratio abounds its sides
His comrades with this sign he did confide
Geometry their secret to discuss
And with this symbol Euclid sealed their trust

This is part 4 of my 5 part series. Euclid was a famous mathematician who was an innovator of modern geometry. Euclid used the pentagram drawn on the hand of his colleagues to discern their belonging to his group. I have more information on my profile if you're interested. This poem is written in the style called Rime Royal. It has 7 lines written in iambic pentameter that follow the rhyme scheme ababbcc.
I would once again like to thank ~Charoncastor for his pentagram. It's really helpful.

Edit:
This has now been grouped into PoetryNOW under Archives.
